With private pool (12 x 6 m; -1,10 – 1,80m depth) Quinta da Ribeira is a charming property dating back from the 18th century. Has been renovated and furnished with immense style and care, located in a rural area and close to the historical town’s of Guimarães (6km) and Braga (15km) and only 1km from the Caldas das Taipas Thermal Spa (dating back to Roman times).

Only 30 minutes by car takes you the beautiful historical town of Vila do Conde with several beaches situated between the river and the sea, and to the lively resort town of Povoa do Varzim with beaches, golf courses and casino for those who like a flutter. Not far away the beautiful beaches of Esposende and Ofir. Only 56km Oporto town, here you can explore the twisting and narrow streets of the Ribeira, famous for its life and character or visit numerous monuments, or why not visit one of the many port wine lodges on the bank of Douro river and further afield the interesting and beautiful town of Viana do Castelo, a must for excellent shops and restaurants.

The property is completely private and surrounded by a large garden with a forest of pines and oaks beyond and with four hectares of vineyards producing the local “vinho verde”.

For larger groups, I offer a house near the pool, with 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, kitchen and living room.

Booking procedure:
Deposit to confirm the booking.
Balance is payable 4 weeks prior to arrival.
Refundable breakages deposit of 250,00€ is required on arrival, to be refunded on your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

Any complaints must be made direct to the owner at the time of renting. It is the responsibility of those renting the property to supervise children in and around the villa and swimming pool.
