In a serene setting by the Bestança River, one of the least polluted in Europe, this charming house offers an idyllic getaway for nature lovers. Surrounded by lush gardens, it’s an oasis of tranquility with multiple spaces to relax and unwind.
In the garden, you’ll find cozy corners perfect for enjoying outdoor moments, including an area with a table for al fresco dining, ideal for sharing meals with family or friends.
The house, with three bedrooms, provides comfort and privacy. The master bedroom, with an ensuite bathroom, and the other two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a triple bunk bed, share a bathroom, ensuring convenience for groups or families.
Each bedroom has a door that opens onto a terrace, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the serene river and the lush opposite bank.
The open space encompassing the living room, dining area, and kitchenette is the heart of the house, where guests can gather and share memorable moments. Doors opening onto the terrace invite outdoor dining while contemplating the serenity of the gently flowing river in the distance.
Although the riverbank is quite calm, it’s important for children to always be supervised by an adult. The house also provides a small rowboat for exploring the tranquil waters of the Bestança River.
A short distance takes you to Porto Antigo with hotel, bar and restaurant.
Surrounded by beauty and tradition, there are many local attractions, and modern activities on offer such as water sports on Douro river, further a-field Caldas de Aregos, with a SPA of sulphur waters (excellent for rheumatisms and other diseases).
Close-by there is the Mosteirô train station which will take you to Pinhão (Douro Valley) and Porto Further still one should not miss the opportunity to visit the historical Porto city with its beautiful riverside quarters, renowned Port-wine cellars or a boat trip on the Douro river.

Kitchenette and the living/dining room, is relaxing and comfortable, with a fireplace, and glass doors opening onto the outside shaded terrace with BBQ

Villa Price Notes
Deposit to confirm the booking.
Balance is payable 4 weeks prior to arrival.
Refundable breakages deposit of 300,00€ is required on arrival, to be refunded on your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
Cot and high chair can be provided upon request, at no extra cost.
Heating not included with extra charge of 250€/week.
Any complaints must be made direct to the owner at the time of renting.
It is the responsibility of those renting the property to supervise children in and around the villa.
