It is a fantastique 450 year old property, located in the lovely region of Beira Alta in central Portugal (a few kms from Serra da Estrela for winter sports and the historic city of Viseu) has been restored with the comfort and amenities of today.
DESCRIPTION
The property is divided into three houses:
Manor house with 2 bedrooms; Tília House with 5 bedrooms and Burra House with 2 bedrooms.
MANOR HOUSE – 2 BEDROOMS
All on ground floor:
2 twin bedrooms both with ensuite bathroom (basin, bidet, toilet and bath with shower over)
Dining room with large table for 14 persons, large fireplace, doors to terrace with outdoor furniture and table football.
Living room, with fireplace and satellite TV, with door to terrace.
Well equipped kitchen with breakfast area, and door to covered terrace with built-in BBQ and large table, perfect location for breakfast or for al fresco dinning.
In front of the manor house on the other side of the terrace, are the two adjacent houses.
BURRA HOUSE – 2 BEDROOMS
Ground floor: Games room with pool table and table tennis.
First floor: 2 bedrooms. 1 twin and 1 double. 1 bathroom (basin, bidet, toilet and bath with shower over).
TÍLIA HOUSE – 5 BEDROOMS
Ground floor: 2 twin bedrooms, 1 bathroom (basin, bidet, toilet and bath with shower over).
First floor: 1 twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom (basin, bidet, toilet and bath with shower over) and door to pool area. 2 twin bedrooms. 1 bathroom (basin, bidet, toilet and bath with shower over).
Pool area: swimming pool (11m x 6m – depth 1.00m ~ 2.20m) and bathroom (basin, toilet, cubicle shower)
Coupled with beauty and tradition, there are also many local and modern activities on offer and just a short drive away historic towns to visit such as Viseu, Nelas, Penalva do Castelo, among many others. And why not visit one of the wineries in the region and take the opportunity to do a wine tasting and so get to know the qualities of the Dão Wine.
The Dão Demarcated Region, was established in 1908. It was the first demarcated region of non-sweetened wines in the country and the second demarcated wine region in the country.
